The Alignment Method
I used to drag myself out of bed in the morning- now I wake up excited to start my day.
I can't remember the last time there was something I dreaded on my calendar. I genuinely look forward to Mondays. I laugh through most of my client calls.
Currently. I’m spending the summer in Europe- taking long walks on beaches and exploring new cities with friends.
Over the past 6 years, I've found a way to do meaningful work and live a joyful life.
But back in 2019, when I was deep in OBGYN residency, the life I have now felt like a pipe dream.
I’d drag myself out of bed while it was still dark, round on my postpartum patients and show up like a zombie to the labor suite. I wondered…
How can I feel so empty when I'm literally bringing life into the world every day?
It was more than just burnout.
It was misalignment.
I had build a life that looked great on paper, but felt completely wrong in my body.
I didn’t know what I wanted.
I just knew: It can't be this.
With every fiber of my being I hoped….there has to be something more than this.
Fast forward to now (Summer 2025)
I've built a 6 figure coaching business doing work I love
I've lived and worked in 56 countries- and still can't get over some of the places I've called my temporary home.
I get to spend my days creating content and programs that excite me and supporting clients who feel like "my people".
All while having the freedom to practice yoga, learn latin dance, hike volcanos, and find friends around the world that feel like family.
Life isn’t perfect. But it feels like me. And it's so good.
I didn’t luck my way into this.
I designed it- byt prioritizing alignment in every decision I made.
I got here by walking myself through six core steps- the same ones I now teach.
I call it…
The Alignment Method
6 Steps to Meaningful Work + a Joyful Life (After Medicine)
This is the exact path I’ve used to get from burnout to alignment.
And it’s the framework I now guide my clients through- in my coaching programs and courses.
Step 1: Reclaim Wholeness
You’ve been striving, hustling, and performing to prove you’re good enough, and it’s led to burnout and misalignment.
When you realize you never had to earn your worthiness, you stop living for approval and start living for you.

Step 2: Create a Career Bridge
When you’re running on empty, it’s not the time to map out your next big move — it’s the time to create space.
A career bridge is a temporary setup that gives you financial stability and energetic breathing room so you can transition out of burnout and into clarity.

Step 3: Connect to Intuition
You’ve spent years outsourcing your decisions — to mentors, checklists, and what looks good on paper.
This step is about coming back to your inner knowing, so your next chapter is built from alignment — not approval.
→ Read More About Step 3: Connect to Intuition
Step 4: Connect to Purpose
The reason you feel lost is because you are disconnected from your soul’s mission.
This step helps you uncover the work that actually feels like you- work that energizes, excites, and aligns with who you are now.
→ Read More About Step 4: Connect to Purpose
Step 5: Build Personal Power
Purpose without power is just another unfulfilled dream that lives in your head.
This step is about bold self-leadership: taking action before you feel ready, trusting your voice, and becoming the woman who brings her vision to life.

Step 6: Monetize Your Purpose
You’re doing the work that lights you up - now it’s time to get paid for it.
This step is about learning how to get paid for your gives in a way that amplifies your purpose and helps you grow into your fullest potential.

Where Are You on the Path?
Whether you’re just waking up to your misalignment or you’re ready to go all in on your purpose- there’s a next step here for you.
You don’t need to rush.
You don’t need to be ready for all of it.
You just need to begin wherever you feel most called.
While I have created a linear order to share these steps with you, the path is truly nonlinear.
I was talking about this with my client recently: Alignment isn’t something you arrive at, it’s a place you live from. It’s a filter for your decisions. It’s an orientation.
Working through each step inside the Alignment Method is how I changed my life, and these are the steps I continue to work through in my ongoing journey.
Whenever you are ready to start doing meaningful work and living a joyful life, the Alignment Method can support you too.
